How This Tracker Works

BACB July 2026 Participation-Monitoring CE Requirement
Starting July 1, 2026, BACB ACE Provider standards no longer accept plain article-and-quiz on its own. Self-paced (asynchronous) CE must include participation monitoring — at least 3 knowledge-check questions per CEU (or another form of required active responding). Video, journal clubs, and podcasts can all qualify.
Where to Earn CEUs
CEUs must come from BACB Authorized Continuing Education (ACE) providers. Special Learning is ACE Provider #OP-14-2437. Our CE Library provides 32.5 CEUs (including 4 ethics and 3.5 supervision) for $199 for 12 months.
Frequently Asked Questions
32 CEUs every 2-year certification maintenance cycle. This must include at least 4 CEUs in Ethics and 3 CEUs in Supervision (if you supervise). Special Learning's CE Library carries 32.5 CEUs in one subscription. Check your own total and cycle dates against your BACB account — we can only see the hours you have taken with us.
20 CEUs every 2-year cycle, including at least 4 in Ethics. Supervision CEUs are not required for BCaBAs unless specified by your supervisor.
Yes, unless you choose to save it. By default everything stays in this browser using localStorage, and clearing your browser data resets the log. Sign in and save it to your Special Learning account and it is stored with us instead, so it survives a cleared browser and follows you between devices.
