My First Voice Lite

Special Learning's premiere basic communication app, My First Voice Lite, provides a means for any child with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or other language deficits to communicate his or her basic wants and needs. My First Voice Lite teaches important vocabulary that children need throughout life. Each image features three different examples to teach generalization to children as they are learning more about their world.

Saying Good Bye Social Story App

The Saying Good Bye Social Story App, the first in a series of social skills teaching apps from Special Learning, teaches your child one of life's most basic social expressions.

With colorful images and lively narration, this educational app for the iPad brings Special Learning's Saying Good Bye social story book to life. It's concrete and repetitive examples help teach children affected by Autism and other developmental disabilities the specific social rules, or "norms," accepted in society.

Teaching with Social Stories Apps (Coming soon)

The Teaching with Social Stories App series provides a fun and engaging way to teach functional communication and social skills to children with Autism and other developmental disabilities. Through lively narration and vivid illustrations of concrete, repetitive examples, children will learn the specific social rules, or "norms," accepted in society.

Its unique app structure features a story followed by a quiz with built-in reinforcement and a token economy system will teach the child using basic techniques of Applied Behavior Analysis, or ABA Therapy. Parents, providers and educators can view the child's progress in learning specific social skills.

  • Comes pre-loaded with four different voice options: man, woman, boy and girl
  • Users can manually turn the pages with a flick of the finger or select to have the pages automatically turn for them
  • Provides a mute option for independent readers
